The problem

You know the problem – what has been missing is the answer

A full diary, little time for yourself – and nothing you have tried so far has worked

I know this from my clients – whether they come from a tax firm or an IT company, the challenges tend to look alike:

No time in your day

Long working days, appointments at short notice, business dinners – your day leaves barely any room for training and considered eating. And when there should still be time for family after work, your own wellbeing quickly takes a back seat.

Physical warning signs

A few steps up the stairs or a slightly quicker pace already leave you out of breath. On top of that come low energy from poor sleep and the first signs of joint pain.

Many attempts, no real result

Eating less, more exercise, one diet or another – you have tried a fair amount. Yet the real breakthrough has not come. And you are a disciplined person – it is just that on this one subject, that discipline does not get you where you want to be.

What is missing is rarely willpower or discipline. What is missing is a plan that fits your daily life – and someone who knows how to put it into practice sensibly.

My approach

Personal training that fits into your daily life

Simple, doable, effective – based on commitment, respect and honesty

Complicated concepts usually fail in everyday life. That is why I rely on clear, simple routes – in training as much as in nutrition and the small habits that make the difference day to day. I support you closely, one to one, and help you put the ideas that suit you into practice.

How it works

How your personal training starts – step by step

Clearly structured, tailored to you

  1. 1

    A free intro call

We get to know each other, talk things through and clear up any open questions. That way you find out whether working together suits you.

  2. 2

    Intake and analysis

We record all the relevant baseline data – including a bioimpedance measurement, which measures your body composition, and a metabolic analysis. Training and nutrition build on this.

At the next appointment we get going: we tackle your topics concretely – step by step and at your pace.

About me

Your personal trainer in Nuremberg: Tim Sußbauer

Over nine years of experience in health and training

I have worked in health and training for over nine years, most recently in premium personal training. In that time I have supported a great many clients closely, one to one. I know the challenges of business owners and the self-employed particularly well: full calendars, little predictability, a lot of responsibility.

Three values matter to me when we work together: commitment, respect and honesty. Only then does genuinely close support work. As a personal trainer I have been able to help many people become fitter and more capable again – and that is what I would like to do for you.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about personal training in Nuremberg

Everything you should know before you start

What does a personal trainer in Nuremberg cost?

The cost of 1:1 personal training depends mainly on how often you train. In the free intro call you will find out openly what your personal training with me costs – matched to your goals and your calendar.

Where does the personal training take place?

Many clients train with me at their home or at their company – that saves valuable time in their day. Alternatively we train outdoors or in a partner gym in Nuremberg. I cover all of Nuremberg and the surrounding area, for example Fürth, Erlangen and Schwabach.

How often should I train?

For visible results you should train at least twice a week; three sessions are ideal. With many clients I train once or twice a week one to one, and they do the remaining sessions on their own to an individual plan.

How much time should I allow for a personal training session?

A session usually takes 60 minutes – set up efficiently so that it fits well into your calendar.

Is nutrition coaching included in personal training?

Nutrition plans and recommendations, along with analysing and evaluating your nutrition data, can be added for an extra fee. We are happy to talk through the details in person if you are interested.

Who is personal training for?

My personal training in Nuremberg is aimed at the self-employed and business owners who want to lose weight and raise their physical performance at the same time.

What training and qualifications do you have?

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Fitness Science and Fitness Economics from IST University of Applied Sciences. I have also earned these licences and certificates:

  • A licence in personal training
  • A licence in medical fitness training
  • A licence in performance and health diagnostics
  • A licence in endurance training
  • A licence in coordination training
  • B licence in sports nutrition
  • Fitness trainer B licence
  • Certificate in prevention and workplace health management

On top of that come over nine years of practical experience in health and training.

What do I need to bring to personal training?

Most of all, yourself – with all your questions, challenges and the pressures of your day. The session is about you and nothing else: movement for the body, a clear head, and a real counterweight to the working day.

How long does working together last?

That depends on your goals. My personal training is set up for long-term support, because lasting change in the body needs time to take hold.

What matters for working together?

Shared values are the basis of how we work: respect, honesty, openness, commitment and loyalty. Without them, close one-to-one support does not work. In the free intro call we find out together whether we are a good fit.

Do you also offer online coaching?

Yes. If you don’t live in the Nuremberg area, travel a lot or prefer to train on your own, I support you through online coaching – with an individual training and nutrition plan, a weekly check-in and chat support.
